My wife is a NICU nurse working 3rd shift 7pm-7am 3 days a week. I understand this is the worst shift to work. She for obvious reasons has trouble sleeping most days. She loves her job and helping others. She recently got promoted and will start working 11am-11pm 3 days a week stating in 2023. What would you guys suggest she do to help her/our family for the next month? Next year when she starts working 11am-11pm is there anything you guys would suggest? This is obviously a better work schedule but still not ideal.

Yes. get better hours. She is trading time for money and playing a dangerous game.
