    Hey ladies and guys.

This question is bothering me. I know the skin is going to be red during vasodilatation, because of the surface arteries are opened more than usual.
But why is the skin turning pink/cherry red after some time of cold exposure with low degrees?
There we get vasoconstriction and the surface arteries are more closed. I dont get that.

    Can you help me out?
