What to look for when purchasing Black Lights

What specs am I looking for, generally? I'm in Toronto & parents from Vietnam.

How do I know roughly how strong to make it for a certain UVA level, like when UVA starts naturally here in the morning? Wattage? Or many in a room?
How do Incandescent ones compare to fluorescent ones, and LEDs? Etc.

I assume Incandescent ones might give off some blue light? Would it be best to use ones that are not "pure" UVA during the day to balance the light spectrum, and use pure UVA ones at night?

I have some option to buy this on clearance for like $2.50:

There's also this higher 75W one, not sure:

But there also LEDs things like this:

    What about tube fluorescents?

I'm totally and completely in the dark about any light bubs much less black lights.
How are black lights used for medicinal purposes?

what are you trying to achieve with UV lights? Vitamin D? Circadian biology?

Lights are important but mainly you want to get out and see direct AM sunshine every morning as naked as possible (your skin has receptors too) use screen filters on devices to take out blue light, and use candles/oil lamps at night and blue light blockers + cover your skin from artificial light at night.

Try to have a window cracked during the day too to let light in through a screen or open air and not through glass.

Before using more artificial lights to correct a bad light environment, I would start by mitigating the bad and using the natural light available to you, track labs or how you’re feeling and go from there.

Jack went into detail on this in a recent PowWow. August or July I think.

  10. This is a warning for all light fixtures. I had a short fluorescent blacklight that was in a house we moved into. tested it for magnetic emf and it was in the 1000s of gauss, ten times higher that readings next to microwave or even inside a hydro electric generating plant. believe it was caused by faulty ballast. Worthwhile to check all fixtures from time to time.

The idea is that we need to have exposure to UVA and UVB
but the man-made sources use AC (alternating current) to power it.
    AC creates EMF.

There are two ways to avoid this type of EMF
one can use incandescent light bulbs (problem here is that they emit very small power).

The other way is to use AC into DC converter, I think EMR uses that in their red lights.

Any manmade equipment is always short of ideal, which is sunlight.

And @Jack Kruse is always unwilling to use B or C solutions if A is the best.

Don’t forget to add people to your list... people are a form of light too! There is a reason friends are number two after the Sun on Jack’s list. Gold at both ends!

Just my rambling thoughts after reading QE #21...

QUANTUM ENGINEERING #21: POLARIZATION OF TISSUES... “The frequency signal in sunlight creates biological truth cells need to function. The frequency noise in man’s light is what distracts cells from their biological potential. Man made light creates lies, and these are lies in timing. This affects how the eye clock measures time. If you say you don’t have time to do things correctly, what makes you think you’ll have time to do it over?”

I tend to be super sensitive to everything in my environment. When I became light sensitive I realized that I grew up like a moth drawn to the flame. The flame being man made light. And I had to learn how to reconnect with nature’s light.

I feel like we have been so badly lied too about man made light that we now can’t comprehend these aren’t just bad but they are also used as programming weapons against us. Most of us are no different than “the moth” with our light choices- Shakespeare’s “moth to the flame” was truth in plain sight. They/we fly straight into the fire. The only way to protect ourselves is by learning the truth. But truth only protects us if we choose too act on it.

Moths are supposed to use stars to navigate through the dark but they are easily distracted by man made lights. Nature wasn’t meant to have all these bright lights at night... the moths get lost and disoriented. They get so confused that they become addicted to mans lights unknowingly losing the connection to nature. If you’ve ever watched them... they will repeatedly bang their heads into the light bulb until they die. They unknowingly cut their time short never being able to reconnect with the stars and nature as intended. They never see the truth because they are stuck in the lie. Are we not doing the same thing as the moths if we don’t act? It’s time to find our light in nature and shine it on others before it’s too late.

Want to save a moth turn off the light!

This is actually truth in plain sight... deceptively clever too!

  13. We are no different. For me, even after striving for years to avoid fake light, it is still hard not to turn towards or look at an unexpected light.

Totally agree... there is a lot of light that is out of our control. It’s about making wise choices with what is in our control. You have an amazingly rare connection with nature. For those that don’t it’s more about learning the truth so you reconnect with nature and find that light again. I use nature’s light first and man’s when necessary. It’s all about making choices that create more light within you. Keep shining bright!
