    Dr. K,

I'm a 43 year old woman, 5'6" with normal bone structure. My current weight is 172 (down from 228) which is still overweight but the BMI table says I should be 155 for a normal range. My goal is 165 but wonder if I should adjust. I know there is a lot of controversy on whether the BMI calculations are correct and accurate. What method do you use?

Healthy weight is when you HS CRP and hormones are all in the normal range.......and your diet is balanced and your not needing the doctor. It has little to do with your weight unless your into vanity.
