TRPM8 and TRPV1 - simultaneous activation

For some time I've been struggling with enormous shivering during CT and by accident found a possible shortcut - after having a hot (capsaicin-rich) meal an hour before the cold water immersion I got rid of any shivering.

It turns out that capsaicin turns off the shivering thermogenesis via TRPV1 receptor:

At the same time it promotes browning of the WAT and activates the non-shivering thermogenesis in BAT, so it works synergistically with what TRPM8 does via cold exposure:

After few tries with capsaicin and CT I feel much better, I'm not shivering and have no energy drop after longer CT sessions.
Did any of you have similar insights? Any possible drawbacks of such method?

I haven't but I am excited to explore this. Have you tried capsaicin directly to skin as a cream for example? Hmm...
