Has anyone found tan through clothing for kids? My son runs around without a shirt on outside, but my daughter needs something. It would be great to find a clothing line that allows the sun through but is less like a bathing suit and more like tank tops or regular shirts and also has athletic style shorts so they just look like they are wearing regular clothes! Honestly, I would love this for my husband and me as well! Tan through items that look like normal shirts and shorts! We spend a lot of time outdoors in our neighborhood and would like a casual look without a bathing suit look. Is there such a thing already out there?

kiniki.com does a range of tan thru for adults, but not children. Apart from the usual stuff, I've got a pair of the men's shorts for me, and DH has a couple of ladies beach wraps. :) If you sew, or know someone who does, it might be worth looking at the beach wraps and sarongs, and using the fabric to make what you want for your children. They also sometimes have cheaper tan through wraps and sarongs on the sale rail page.:)

I have a Kiniki top and bottom for myself, but was really hoping for items that looked more like clothing. I was thinking of trying the men's shorts. So, glad to hear that works for you!

Kiniki is basically printed mesh. Look for printed sheer mesh, lace cover ups or loose weave sweater knits/crochet tops.

you can also get a kiniki beach sarong or wrap and tie it around her body under the armpits, then add a belt around the waist for a cute strapless dress. The cropkini would probably work for a tank style top. The mens shorts are tight and have a draw string so they could work on kids too.
