I have never ever had hunger on those days, Cavemam. I'm sure you'll do fine! :)

  2. Ok so I just realized, "wait 72 hrs after last injection to eat" is NOT 3 days. . .if I inject at 7 a.m. on Saturday, then that 72 hrs is over at 7 a.m. on Monday and then I can proceed with BAB right?

Colleen - when you moved into P3 - did you start the reset/BAB right away? if so - what would you eat typically - at least in the beginning. I want to do this properly this time. Do you do high fat? How are you doing with P3? have you stabilized? Thanks.

72 hours is up Tues morning, Cavemam. 24 hours is Sunday, 48 is Monday then 72 on Tues. :)

Caroline, I had been at goal for over a year before I found the leptin reset. But others have immediately done LR instead of a regular P3 with no problem. :)

Sometimes the memory and fear of the negative time keeps on haunting only you are extremely much overwhelmed for you to forget to smile. Do you think you're depressed and packed with anxiety continuously? Do you think you're in times that may be known as a disorder?

  6. Heya Those that are on any HCG phase right now, would love to hear how it's going.

    I'm up 6 lbds, about 12 days into p3.

My pattern has been to hold for 3-4 days, then gain two pounds. On those holding days, I was eating things like HWC, Tomatoes, egss etc so I am stumped to where the problem might be.

I've done 1 steak day per protocol. Nothing but steak and an apple for dinner - no weight loss at all!

I did a salmon day where I had a tbs of cream in coffee and a little CO in tea during the day. Just salmon and apple for dinner. Lost 1.5 lbds.

Now after todays 2 lbd bump up I'm doing another steak day, this time I did CO and BUTTER in my coffee/tea during the day and I'm not doing an apple so I'm zero carbs today. If this doesn't drop weight, then I don't think it makes sense to keep doing steak days.

What are you doing? Have you had multiple 2lbd gains in days close together? People say don't do two steak days in a row, or do more than one a week. . .but even with my correction days I'm up 6 lbds up.

I'm trying an "elimination" type plan now, so tomorrow - even if I dont have a drop in weight, I'm only going to eat veggies and meat and fat. . .and see if I can go 5 days without a gain. Then start working in foods one at a time. I guess.

I am not having any issues with cravings or hunger - I had zero probs only eating a little fat during the day today. . .I've been doing a keto diet for long enough now that I think I'm a fat burner for sure.

Hi Cavemam - I stopped HHCG 4 days ago and the second day was up 1 1/2 kilos. It horrifies me to see the scale going up! today I was only up .5KG - so that is okay. I did get to my goal weight and I so want to stay around there - I feel so much better. My days haven't been regular either for one reason or another. One day I was fasting for blood work and I got dehydrated. I also haven't had a decent BM. Are you eating a BAB? I find it so scary. It is so hard to figure out what is right for us each individually. I don't know whether to go higher fat and medium protein - I guess more seafood is one answer. Good luck to both of us in solving this. Please let me know how you are going.

Bye the way - I have never had much luck with a steak day either. It seems to be such a great tool for some

cavemam, you should cut out the eggs and dairy. You can't look at what you ate on the holding days because you're likely gaining from what you ate 2 days before, sometimes even 3. And get your hormones checked. That's often a culprit too. Sorry to hear you're struggling! Usually if you don't drop down with a steak day, you're dealing with inflammation.

  10. Coleen, I'm taking your advice.

    Cutting all dairy (including butter).

No eggs. Didn't do eggs yesterday

No nuts except probably a few Macadamias.

Going to give many days and see what happens.

Steak day did work a bit this time, 1.8 lbds. I did a 16 oz ribeye and no apple. Weight now 4.2 over LIW.

Anybody notice weight fluctuations on Tomatoes/Peppers? What say you on those?

I eat them fine but my leaky gut is no longer. Doc says no to them if you have an autoimmune disease.

  12. Perhaps this is where I am in denial - is fat an autoimmune disease?

What exactly is an autoimmune disease? maybe I am in denial too. Is it working to cut out eggs and butter? I eat alot of eggs

No fat isn't an autoimmune disease. :) Most people with low thyroid have hashimotos though which IS an autoimmune disease. Others are MS, lupus, etc.

  15. Up 1.6 today. No eggs or butter yesterday. Had macadamia nuts - and the kale for dinner had some cashews.

Oh cashews are a sure fire way to gain in P3! Cashews and peanuts. :(

  17. Thanks! ! ! Good to know this! I should have ask but, didn't think the "coconut cream kale" had nuts! No wonder it was soooo tasty.

    Sounds yummy!

  19. 214.8, up 6.6 from LIW. That is a 1.2 lbd gain from yesterday. Scale only seems to go up. Only thing moved it is fasting. I suppose another fasting day. Sadly, fasting/steak days never bring it down below enough so it's always creeping up.

Lifetime of IFing every 3rd day? Seems stupid and crazy. Did I just eat too much yesterday? I have no idea. So say something is "broken" (I suppose that's obvious considering). . .can I force the weight? I do not want to go up anymore and I know the fat gain related to food is a symptom not the cause, but until I can fix the cause (If I can at all?!?) shouldn't I strive to manage the symptoms?

Every other time in my life I've got to the "going up" point and quit. I quit weighing, I quit trying and just lived with it. This time I'm trying to deal with it, that's the healthier move right?

How long have you been dairy and egg free? Give me a list of the things you've eaten the last few days. And really, you need to fix your hormones too I bet. Those just don't magically fix themselves with the right diet. :( Though this gain is still likely from the cashews. :(
