  1. ok, Colleen - I need to thank you in a significant way!!!

Skipped dose today, it was the absolute best day yet. NO HUNGER, not one tummy rumble.

Dropping dose tomorrow to 125. You are my favorite medical professional right now!

just for everyones information - I have done 2 rounds using HHCG - the last one was pellets and this time I am doing a short round using the patches and they are working great! I live in Australia and HCG is confiscated by customs. I ordered HCG the first time and had it confiscated!

  6. Now that just sucks! Is it not avail through a doc there either? Glad the patches are working for you. Any hints/tips on stabalizing?

  7. Had to combine my proteins this a.m., at 3 shrimp along with my cod. It was leftover and I grabbed it and went.

Anybody seen anything on scallops? They are not on proticol. . .but I'd love to hear what up. I'm gonna try to do fish from here on out. Unless I dont'. You know how it goes.

I've done scallops with no issue and know of a pescatarian that does protocol with only fish and uses salmon as well with no issue (she stabilized really well)

the only thing you may want to do is increase your portion size if you are doing only fish from 3.5oz to 5-6oz in order to keep your calories around 500

  9. Thanks for input Colleen! I have been upping proteins to go to 500. So good w that. I may have scallops for dinner!

Eat the scallops. Try to remember that protocol was written 60+ years ago and is hopelessly out of date in regards to the current state of the food we all eat.

I have said it before, the reason broccoli wasn't on his list was because NOBODY was eating it back then. I have a cookbook from the early 50's and it isn't even mentioned in the list of veggies. Scallops? You might have found them in the market if you lived on the coast but no where else. Lean beef? It is to laugh. That's a concoction that has arrived only in the last 20 years or so because everybody went nuts for low fat. In the 50's beef was MARBLED meaning if it didn't have plenty of fat threaded through the meat it was worthless. If you can afford to buy USDA PRIME meats today you will find them fully marbled. That's the GOOD stuff.

Sorry for the rant. It's just frustrating to keep hearing the "it isn't on the protocol so don't eat it" drumbeat when things have changed so much since it was written.

I think you can get it from a couple of docs. but very expensive and I find that the HHCG works for me. Actually - HHCG is not allowed in Australia either but the patches seem to get thru with no problems. I had a hard time stabalizing so am going to do the reset. But still not sure how to go about it. more fat? no bacon? I think I will do a bullet proof coffee for sure. I just don't want to put any kilos on. I don't want to do this again. Having said that - I think HCG is great and if you need to do it in the future - why not??? Any ideas how you will do it? I wish I could say I will have a mackeral smoothie - pretty scary! I think I am more likely to have Inger's high meat. I am craving fish like crazy!!! quite a change - it used to be donuts!!! I would be interested in what you plan to do. I have been longing for salmon or tuna ceviche. I have a really great fish shop at the harbour that is so close to me. The prices are mind blowing tho. Snapper comes in fresh almost every day - snapper head smoothie??

no you should not be eating marbled beef. That's very specific in the protocol. And I see it stall people out every single day on the big forum. I'm one who beats that drum about the strict protocol. I see the results of NOT doing it every single day.

  14. Colleen - what do you think about going past 40 injections if the hunger is still at bay? I'm thinking of adding a few days to see if I can get losses to 36 lbds. Would love your thoughts. . . and anybody else too if they have done it!

I never said anything about eating marbled beef on protocol. I was trying to show how foods have changed in the last 50-60 years. I thought I made that clear. Guess not.

  16. I think you did, we just have different end of the spectrums on ideology here. I think that's a good thing. Healthy debate is how we actually learn! Also the N=1 on this topic runs deep.

I am like you Darleen, I have finally FINALLY decided just this once I was not going to outsmart myself. I have a long history of outsmarting my own good. It comes from always quietly thinking "I'm smarter than you" and "clearly you are an idiot" with about 99% of people I meet.

The good thing is I'm mellowing and changing that. Of course finding smarter people to hang out with WOULD help ;)

Obviously I slipped in my protocol perfections. Let's see if going back to almost perfect does anything this last stretch. I'm going exactly on protocol minus the melba toast. (see I can't just do it right!). That leaves plenty of calories for me to eat a large apple (my afternoon snack that is key for me getting from lunch to dinner without dying of boredom).

Are you skipping a day a week, Cavemam? If you are, it's totally on protocol to go about 47 days. The protocol is 40 injections. :)

Darlene, you were talking about protocol in general in that post so I assumed you meant marbled beef is okay on protocol. sorry I misunderstood.

  18. I'm going to go the whole 40 injections, I did skip a few (started skipping after first few weeks) - but depending on how close I am to 200 I am considering adding a day or so and see if I can eek it out. By which might mean 45 injections.

Today I started back on strict protocol (100 g raw meat) minus grain. My back is better so I'm going to try a min of 1 hr of normal paced walking and see if I can have better losses this week. Do many people go past 40 injections? I don't plan on doing another round at all, or if I do - I'm going to try a deep winter round (more sleeping!). . .so I'm not worried about time between rounds.

There are a few who go past the 40 injections, but not many. And 34 pounds is the maximum allowed to be lost in one round. But if it's only going past a few injections, you should be fine. :)

  20. I'm getting nervous about the three days post injections. Are the last two days tough? Any advice for getting through it? Just white knuckle it? Perhaps start moving time of injections to later in the day?
