  1. Ok, I loaded! Gained 5 lbds. eeeks.

I am on day 3, and oops TOM started. Right now I'm just plowing ahead - but hoping for some advice.

Today is first low cal day so I don't know about hunger yet.

My plan is to stay on P3 for a while with keto leptin RX.

Right now I'm doing Lunch / Dinner and just doing 2 meals. I want this to work!!! BUT - I would really like to move meal to bfast and get that protein in upon waking. Any results yet from that?

ALSO - when doing seafood and cutting breads, my calories are not going to be up to 500. Should I make up the difference in meat, or just land where it lands and only do 200 grams?

    Thanks all!

welcome to P2 cavemam! fwiw there are slightly more active P2 threads at hcginfo and at optimal health cave (paleo/kruse oriented)

    Hi Colleen

I am really considering doing this in a couple of weeks, I notice you are from Canada. Where and what kind of hcg is available, do I need a doctor to get it, and is it true I can do breakfast and dinner or does it need to be two meals in a row ?

Thanks for any info you can give.

175 is pretty high, CaveMam, I would not use a dose that high myself. There have been quite a few who eat their breakfast as one of the meals and losses are pretty typical so you can do it that way if you like. Good luck!

there are a couple of doctors/naturopaths that do Rx hcg in Vancouver but you are looking at around $500-$750 per round

generally you would have to purchase Rx hcg online and have it shipped to a US address (Blaine or Point Roberts) and then bring it across yourself but none of the providers will ship to Canada as Canada Border Services will seize it.

there are also a couple of hhcg providers but I haven`t heard much regarding the efficacy.

as Colleen C mentioned you can do breakfast and dinner rather than 2 consecutive meals. have you read Pounds & Inches yet?

I downloaded it and will be working on it over the next couple of weeks. I guess the stuff you see online for $120 or less is just a fake version ?

pretty sure, for legit stuff, if you go to hcginfo (link is in Colleen C's signature) about 3/4 way down the page is a forum for where to buy hcg on the net. there are a couple of choices available, if you are buying overseas get one of the loadable visa cards from Safeway and use that (our loadable cards can be used internationally) to avoid issues with your personal credit cards.
  8. Thanks all for the comments. I'm headed over to check out the other forum. . thanks for the heads up. I missed that one.

Now that I'm taking some time to read/digest all of the stories out there, what I think is the CT very well may be a good compliment to HCG, but you have to do the diet as prescribed. I haven't seen much about people doing strict proticol and also doing CT. I bet one trick and part of the reason others have hunger, is when combined with CT - doses are probably ideal at a much lower level.

I would rather reliably lose weight on this first try than be a test monkey. (bless you Colleen for doing that - you are the reason I am NOT doing it!!)

On buying HCG, I just bought some from Escrow Refills. I hadn't read all the Credit stuff before, so just used the normal card. I'll keep an eye on it!

The nice thing was it went quick. I got it in 2 weeks!

I ordered the kit with all the needles and vials in addition to HCG. Yes, it was more expensive - I'm sure you can save money. I think if I did another round, I would shop around more and get supplies other ways. Since this was my first time and it's all so foreign I'm glad I did it this way.

I ordered 6 2K vials of HUCOG. On 2nd day of VLCD and so far so good! I messed up on preparing 1st vial. I dropped my 2nd vial - and debated on throwing that one out too as everything says be careful with your HCG, I used it and loaded 10 needles and I think it must be working as my hunger seems ok. Loss yesterday was 2.2 (I was up 5 from load so I'm hoping It keeps going 2lbs a day for a few days).

I'm mixing the HCG vial (it has powder in it) with 4 cc/mls of the water.

My first 3 doses were at 175 iu, I dropped today to 125iu. My TOM started and I decided to back off on dose rather than stop during TOM since I just got started. I'll do 125 again tomorrow and then probably bump back up to 150. See how I'm feeling.

I have been eating super clean paleo and fairly low carb for about 10 months, and I was hard core Leptin RX + CT for the last 4 months. So hopefully I'm set up for stabilizing. P3 will be easy peasy as I've been doing that forever it seems.

Thanks for the support all, it helps!!!

    Thanks for the site info.

I went over there looking and saw a link to this site http://www.wix.com/adinalgreen/hcg-edmonton#!Home/mainPage

I cannot find a list of ingredients yet, it does say it is the "same HCG diet that doctors charge $550- $700 for!" however that can just be clever wording. I am going to Edmonton next week to see my grandson, so I may check it out in person.
  10. Valorie, I'd be careful about that...It might be homeopathic HCG...How could someone be selling it in Canada when it's not approved?

I think you are better to order and pick it up in the States. I think you are pretty close to the border, aren't you?
  11. Valorie33

    Valorie33 New Member

Yes I am, and there is a drop off place in the states that is about half an hour from here, but I think you need a Rx to get it in the states ?
  12. From the thread "Where do you buy your HCG", on June 5th:

And you don't need a Rx to order through that cie.

Cavemam, I DID to strict protocol with CT after the experiment with fat and I was hungry all the time no matter how I tweaked it. I had to drop the CT. Just FYI. :)

    finnite@dccnet.com New Member

this is true, no Rx needed for that site

  15. Oooh, thanks. I wasn't planning on doing any CT - I'm going old school Simeon all the way. I did adjust dose down, doing 125 while in TOM. I think I will keep it there and see how it goes.

The very exciting news to me now, is this is day 5, and I was -9.4 from LIW. 4 lbds down from pre-load in so I'm stoked. My losses have been in the .5-1 lbd a month variety - albiet I'm down several sizes and body reshaped nicely from the RX + CT.

BUT, If I can lose 11 more lbds I will be at my lowest weight since before 6th grade (I remember a horrid classroom weigh in, 6th grade, weight 201)

So far, the food is looking like fuel - I'm not spending any time planning great meals. . just eating the protein, veggie and fruit with a little lemon juice and salt. I did only one fruit yesterday, and added extra protein to get up to 500 cals. Does that sound good?

I've never had a planning/willpower issue, so I think I can keep to the plan nicely.

I'm just so excited about the losses so far, I could just piddle! Colleen, you are the best. I doubt I would have gone down this path without reading all of your comments all over here, and subsequently the rest of the sites. I am so grateful, you've done good deeds.

  18. Hello those with an HCG interest. I thought I would post this here instead of Journal.

On day 13, I weighed yesterday and was down 13.6 net lbds - but it was only a teeny loss from day before. Due to the crazy, I've decided not to actually weigh anymore. I'm being darn strict except for the higher protein ratio. I'm doing seafood as much as possible as protein, and only one small fruit a day. Still strict with the 500 cals and zero fats.

In my mind, there is nothing I could/will change with the inevitable stalls and slow downs - so why keep such a strict eye on that?

If there is a reason I'm missing, do advise please!

Good News/Bad News! . . . .starting to run out of skinnier clothes and may have to buy some for vacation next week! AND my abdomen is all wrinkly and ickier looking with loose skin.

I've noted a MARKED change in cognitive function without all the good fats and supplements and healthy eating. Spacier, can't remember things on a list, forget what I did etc.

I plan on going the whole round to knock out as much fat as possible, but I'm looking forward to getting back to optimal when done.

I keep messing with my doses, but I'm not sure I'm doing it in a scientific enough way. I'm at about 150, and have occasional hunger pangs (uncomfortable growling adjustments in tummy).

I am worried that if I "skip" a dose to see if it's too high I'll lose benefits for that day or be so so hungry that night. Someone with more wisdom care to talk me down from the edge?

I'm spending a lot of time this week preparing foods for vacation next week. I'm going to make frozen meals and take all my food. I can eat raw fresh veggies/fruit and bring the measured portions of meat. Not exciting, and I fully expect to be secretly eating in a closet or bathroom and telling all the barbeque/pie/chips/drinks loving family that "Oh, I had a giant breakfast, can't get another bite in!". My dieting is nothing I want to share. Except with you, fine reader.

Anybody got advice on Dry Ice? I want to have a "frozen" cooler that I put my frozen protein in.

You should skip a dose, Cavemam. You won't lose any benefits from the hcg. It stays in your body 3 days. And I am pretty sure your dose is too high still. So you will feel better by late afternoon. If you feel better, as I suspect, take the dose down to 130ish.

  20. As always Colleen, you are the best. Thanks much. I shall do it! I'm skipping tomorrow.
