Solar Glo and transition glasses

I have eyeglasses which 'transition' to sunglasses when exposed to uv light.
(They are old before I knew better)
So I take them off whenever I'm outside anyways and I'm using them until I can get new ones.
My question is, I recently exposed them to the solar glo bulb on a rainy day and the glasses did not transition.
Doesn't the solar glo provide some uva & uvb? Why wouldn't they change? Its possibile that the uv in the bulb is quite minimal.
    Anyone have insights?
