share lunch box ideas for kids!?

    When my now 6 year old wasn't good about eating meat... I bought her tenderloin. Sounds expensive but it did help her get past the chewing issues.



    The other thing when she was really small, I would cook the ground beef and then puree it in a food processor 4parts meat to 1 part well cooked rice. And then I rolled her little meatballs. It only lasted a few months... once they really like the meat, they will start eating it better on their own.

    Great ideas Cavemam! A suggestion you might like is that we make sushi with cauliflower as a rice substitute - I just chop it up small in the food processor (or you can grate by hand) and lightly steam it - add some vinegar and salt to make it taste like the real mccoy too!



    For pizza - we use the cauliflower (or can sub out zucchini), cheese, egg recipe for the base. It also passes the kid-test well!
