I have heard jack say that running a Joovv on a battery removes the flicker problem.
is this because a battery runs on DC and not AC?
Would this be the same if I use a AC to DC converter?

and does this work for every LED light such as:

or is there something specific about the Joovv?

Charge battery with (any) converter, then run your light on that battery.
Same as on car headlights running on battery.
Keep the charging system's nnEMF far away from lights.
