    Jack,

I have magnesium orotate, taurate, malate and threonate. I have been taking them all at the same time before bed. However, it occured to me that all these different variations of magnesium might compete with one another for both intestinal absorption and cellular absorption. So I was wondering: If you take a variety of magnesium compounds, is it important to take them at different times in order ensure that they all get properly utilized by the body? Thanks.

yes I do recommend that but I have found no good data that Mg absorption is altered in that fashion
