    Ask Jack:

I'm having a filling removed and replaced (or crowned if need be) in about a month. Given the filling is 40 years old, I know there's mercury in it.

Do you have any recommendations for steps to take before or after to mitigate concerns about mercury?

Google Huggins protocol for amalgam removal. They must use a rubber dam to do it. Ask them if they do it.
