I'm 70 years old now in fair but not optimal health...
My issue with my #5 tooth just broke (clean break on the inside). Prepped for a cap and put temp in today.
Choices may be porcelain fused to zirconia, all zirconia, all porcelain or pull the tooth.
Will talk again to my local dentist about dental material concerns tomorrow.

I have had 6 root canals all upper teeth. Blance Grube DDS wanted me to pull all of those upper teeth about 7 years ago but I could not bring myself to agree to that.... since over time three of those Root canaled teeth in a row asked to be pulled and they were pulled with no problems. They are back teeth to the back of # 5 which is a natural tooth.
Current DDS suggesting porcelain fused to zirconia but I am concerned about nickel ( Ni is believed to be sensitivy for me- but not confirmed by Dx) as well concerns over transition metals period.
I just asked and got a Yes from Jack Kruse that I think might mean maybe Zirconia better than porcelain fused to zirconia but realizing no good answer.
My whole mouth must be full of questionables.

    Pondering what to do?

    What would you all do?
