    Maybe they can come up with an implant just behind the skull someday?

    they already have that. Cochlear implant and they now are working on a transcranial magnet to electrify the neocortex

    The military has developed voice to skull technology. Using microwaves someone can send signals into your head that only you can hear. That would mess you up so bad. Only you could hear a voice talking to you or a door bell ringing or a car honk that only you could hear. Yikes :/


     
  6. there is a patient of mine who had his ear canal blown away by a shotgun accident, he has a press stud implanted into his skull, onto which clips some sort of receiver that amplifies sounds through the skull because the ear canal cannot transmit air changes....

    Search the Flanagan Neurophone, been around a long time already...nothing new....not typically at the microwave level, but has been used elsewhere...not really a new use....just public now for some reason....always funny what those "reasons" may be.....
