Jack advises certain people use paprika for niacin I think, but it also contains the red-orange carotenoid beta cryptoxanthin. Studies mention that beta cryptoxanthin inhibits adipogenesis without the damaging side effects of drugs , lowers the risk of polyarthritis by 50%, and can be converted to vitamin A.
Red peppers (paprika), pumpkin, and citrus are good sources of this carotenoid.

Anyone know how much sweet red paprika makes an effective helping to protect against polyarthritis or reduce adipogenesis in humans?
