My dentist recently recommended taking BLIS K12. Has anyone had any experience with this for oral health? If so, what were your results?

    Thank you in advance,
  2. You may want to suck on it; let it dissolve in your mouth. Your mouth needs enzymes too. Most mouth washes "sterilize" what we need; this includes making NOX from the bacteria on your tongue in your mouth https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/pdf/10.1080/089106099435880
NOX as low as 1 ppm have been shown to inhibit the growth of several bacteria and fungi, such asE.coliandC.albicans.
It appears that Veillonella feeds on lactic acid, a compound produced in the muscles during exercise; in turn, the bacteria produce a compound called propionate, which may aid athletic performance - https://www.livescience.com/65780-athletes-gut-bacteria-boost-performance.html

Is this to say you have used BLIS K12? I have never used mouthwash.
  4. I have not used BLIS K12 - yet.
Any antibiotic will destroy your oral flora.

Where did I say it was an anitbiotic? It is a probiotic.
  6. You didn't. Good bacteria in the mouth can be wiped out by a prescription of antibiotics. I should have clarified.
