Don't forget - the best doctor is the one in your own head!

Trust your instincts .....it sounds like you have spent an absolute fortune on supplements and listening to other people ....and you still aren't well.

So glad that you went to your friends funeral.

Focus in on Dr. K's stuff and regain your health.

It happens to all of us - we may look too far afield for answers and we are always trying the next "thing" to get better..

  2. I use a horse trough with a hose of well water running. It stays at 60F. 30-60 minutes in bright sun.

The water temperature that I am walking into is around 5degC so I'm finding about 3-5mins is about long enough for me. Hoping straight out of bed, walking 100m then into the water is not as easy as the afternoon dip, when Ive been working in the garden it feels lovely.

  4. Thank you so much for all of the resources, Caroline. I have gastroparesis, SIBO, issues digesting fats and dysbiosis (from lyme and mold), cell danger response and NAFLD...so re the gut stuff, it's primarily motility issues. I've been pretty good for a while but have tripped over something and now eating is such a challenge. On a bad day, water isn't even an option. Thankfully oxalates aren't a problem for me but I don't eat too much in the way of veggies. Histamines are a challenge.

I am familiar with Michaela and Jordan Peterson's stories but will revisit them ;) Thank you for the reminder.

I've joined the FB group and will check out your other resources, too!

You have had a consult with Jack - I think?

  6. Yes, I did early May. I'm just in a flare right now with all of the motility and eating issues :(
