    Hi all,
I've been going to do this for ages, but long time coming.
I bought Epi-Paleo RX about 6 mths ago - can't remember how I got to it, probably googling health issues.
Had spiralling health issues for years, - like most people I guess. Lots of little issues didn't think much of at time, such as tiredness, tinnitus, bloating, constipation, dizziness, brain fog - put it all down to stress - even thought I didn't feel stressed. About 10 yrs ago started slowly losing weight & getting tireder & dizzy all time. Still nothing wrong after having gastroscopy & colonoscopy. Told no such thing as gluten intolerance, so kept eating gluten. I'm quite tall & about 2 yrs ago was only 44kgs. Luckily found GAPS diet, as GP just wanted to give me lots of drugs & put me in hospital which I refused - knew there must be more natural way.
Have been on GAPS for 2 years & a lot better but still not as good as would have liked. Since following Jack's info have improved quite a bit. Find it all a bit much for the brain but after re-reading blogs over & over sometimes if lucky I have a light bulb moment!
Think biggest improvements have probably come from eating fish by the ton, cutting out blue light at night & less EMF - one of the hardest things I've found to do.
Finding it difficult being in Australia to sort some information such as water, fish & sun.
Anyone out there from or near Bendigo? Would love to meet up with fellow Kruse followers as my husband, family & friends all think I'm nuts - don't really care about that, but nice to have someone else to meet & discuss things with!

    G'day g'day fellow Aussie ;)

Josh (owner of http://www.paleoosteo.com/) was from Bendigo. He now lives in Torquay, but still runs up there pretty often to his clinic there, so maybe you can get a hold of him. He'll tell you exactly what environmental issues you're currently facing

I'm originally from Melbourne, and now I'm in Cairns

Will be following along :p, and feel free to ask any questions either here or directly through private messages or email (my email is on my site)

  5. hi jenny yep i have paleo osteo here in bendigo, and have moved to specialise in nutritinoal and environmental medicine, as a member of ACNEM (australian college of nutritional and enviromental medicine)
i can confirm that the environment up here is indeed fucked, hence i moved :p

Thanks fellow Aussie's for welcome! Wow I'm impressed that Josh comes to Bendigo - lucky me, I shall look up his site in a minute.
The reason it's taken me so long to do this is my computer skills aren't the best. Could someone tell me where easiest place to get back to this page is & where you look to find latest posts from others. Just taken me 10 mins to find this page but don't know how I did it now, so shall leave it here so can see any other posts!

    Welcome Jenny,

Glad you are aboard and showed up on deck. The easiest way to get back to a thread is to simply bookmark it or favourite it. Another good way is just to look at new posts. Once you open a post it disappears out of that listing though. The buttonfor it is in the menubar at the top. Here is the link in longhand.

Nice to meet you all! Are you on the coast Caroline? I would love to live on NSW coast somewhere below Sydney. Lived @ Paynesville on Gippsland Lakes for 5 years & loved it. Really miss the water but can't convince hubby as yet to move back to coast.

Hey all you Aussie followers - what fish do you eat down under? Am I right in thinking that it's better from colder areas like Tasmania? Thanks :)

Thanks Caroline - lucky you! Went to North Wollongong couple of years ago & loved the place - always thought it just a dirty old industrial town but far from it. Hubby & I were on the way home in our caravan & only had quick visit but decided we would have to come back.

It is truly like a hidden treasure - there is so much positive energy! ...the downtown is pretty crappy - altho they have done a lot of renovating and rebuilding and we have a nice new shopping complex.

You will have to come for a visit!

There may be a bit of a meet up in Adelaide .... pm ssj

Hopefully Dr. K. will come to speak next year.....

welcome Jenny! Great you have already seen some improvement! It is not easy in modern world to find the right direction to go. I am pretty sure anyone can have a better life as long as we are working on it every day as the world around us and we change. I have some personal experience with GAPS and a friend who is officially GAPS obsessed and even runs a webpage for GAPS diet in the country I come from. I think it is a good start if you come from nowhere, but it is not enough and I personally missed fish and seafood while on GAPS and found a bit too much nuts ;-) After all, as much as I know as of today, food is not a holly grail of my programm. I discovered I react much more to location and PC use habits than to any known food. That is to say I would never eat bad food or be on a bad diet, but I prefer to live in a country side and spend my days outside even if the price includes that my diet must get simpler.

Hi Kovita, Funny you said about too many nuts, I love them too much - just said to hubby 5 mins ago pain in belly my own fault as I knew I shouldn't be stuffing those extra nuts in 10 mins ago! Have to agree I think too much time on PC definitely shows up in my health. Trying to limit it. I see you're from Vienna, haven't been there but planning on it in the future.
Just read your journal - sorry to hear you're having such a hard time, must be very difficult with 2 little children. Luckily for me when I could barely drag myself out of bed 2 yrs ago, my children had left home. Hopefully you will improve quicker with all the help from here. Best wishes :)

Had late visitor last night & didn't wear my lovely orange glasses - interestingly did have trouble going to sleep, which normally can't stay awake soon as I go to bed so they obviously work better than I thought.
Yah - have appt with Josh (pale osteo) next week. Expecting miracles!!
