    Staring at a screen doesn’t promote creativity and life experiences fun, it promotes mitochondrial damage, brain shrinkage, retinal changes that lead to obesity and mood changes. In an analysis of teen surveys dating back to 1991, Jean Twenge found a clear trend: every activity that didn't involve a screen was linked to more happiness, and every activity that involved a screen was linked to less happiness. https://ww2.kqed.org/futureofyou/20...plummeted-after-2012-one-possible-reason-why/

    In the last few weeks, my daughter (19yo), started college. She has had several bouts already of hives/histamine reactions. Prior to this she was well on her way to better health. I see her going down hill VERY quickly. She struggled during high school as well to remain healthy. She quit high school but got her GED and was doing so much better being out of that environment. This has huge implications for her future career. It's proof that the world has to change. The young people growing up today won't be able to just suck it up and keep doing what people are doing today working in an nnEMF cesspool. Life (society) will have to shift...

    I'm 18 and finding that what Jack said is the truth;

    A bit disappointing in the sense that I can't be around peers my age without being in a toxic environment,

    But I'm glad I know this info so I can do what's best for me. I might hop around a few university towns while running my business to plant these ideas and see the response, however I don't think I'll stay too long. I'm focused on making my business grow and grow and grow so I never need to live in a suboptimal environment to make money.

    I generally prefer being around smart people like the Quantum crowd in Mexico, even if theyre not my age...

    But my generation really is headed towards and already facing loads of mitochondrial disease. I do think humans will work to solve this when everyone's brother sister mother or father is really really sick, so there is lots of opportunity for people like me and your daughter who build solutions early. She is one of the lucky ones!

    Like Jack says, we are the ones who build arks for people before it rains. The rain has started, but it's not yet an ocean

    I love it Matt! I'm going to let my daughter read what you've just said, and previously. She should be encouraged by your words and take on it. She's never really fit in with her peers anyway, also prefers better conversations.
    Thanks for piping up!

    THis is very true with my son. He is a roofer. When he is not working due to injury or weather conditions, he spends a lot of time gaming. His health deteriorates and his skin breaks out and he becomes, quite frankly, an absolute a-hole.

    However as soon as he goes back to roofing all day in the sun - he gets leans, tanned, turns into the picture of health and becomes an absolute pleasure to be around - so much so that his freinds are always trying to get him to come out with them because he is a lady magnet.

    The contrast from gaming to roofing is staggering to witness.

    Over the past few weeks I have had my roof refurbished by an old guy specialising in concrete tiles. This old fella is pushing 70yo, has been roofing for 50 years and is known for being able to out-work roofers 1/3rd his age. He is the picture of health and is always in a great mood.
