Making new threads for individual topics to focus my search.

My question for this one: if the labs show your mitochondria are working correctly, does that mean they are, or is that just one little indicator?

Mine was a Genova Diagnostics NutrEval test that included Metabolic Analysis Markers. Under the sections for Carb Metabolism, everything was out of whack (two low, one high). But under the Energy Metabolism section, everything was within range (see below for the names of what was checked) except one, which was trending low but not dangerously, and that one was Cis-Aconitic Acid. Malic acid was just about to leave the green (healthy) section toward high.

Tested: Citric Acid, Cis-Aconitic Acid, Isocritic Acid, a-Ketoglutaric Acid (AKG), Succinic Acid, Malic Acid, b-Oh-B-Methylglutaric Acid (HMG).
