So I have switched some of the lights in the house to red LEDS, which we use after sundown, but I just saw some comparison of light bulbs where they showed that LED light bulbs actually have peaks of different coloured light.

I think they were analysing the spectrum of white LEDs, but still, it made me wonder whether red or orange/amber LEDs really have no blue or green light, or whether they just look like they have no blue or green light. Does anyone know about this?
