CTforlife, how are you implementing your theory practically?
Tell me about your day... what exactly do you do.

Scompy, I suspect we have the ability to compensate somewhat (temporarily, of course) for lack of sun and possibly limited grounding by increasing (cold) water consumption (given adequate DHA). I think this is built in to our "seasonality." In winter, especially in the areas closer to the poles, you'd have vastly decreased sun availability, but a vastly increased water availability in the form of snow. (Which makes sense as ketosis tends to increase thirst/water requirement.) Perhaps grounding would also be less efficient in the winter due to increased layers worn on the feet (think feet wrapped in furs rather than barefoot.) Also makes me wonder about the Aurora Borealis and perhaps northern people's diets being able to protect them somewhat.

This is just stuff I've been mulling over recently. Pure speculation.

Thanks! Yeah, great stuff. Just today I was thinking, 'what happens when you put a person in complete darkness for a few days, or even a few weeks?' One would suspect that outside of all of the circadian mismatching that will happens, it's going to be a similar influence to the older actors that used to spray-paint the skin over the entire body. At that time, they knew the skin needed to breathe so they left a 'strip of unpainted skin surface from the lower-back to the shoulders that wouldn't get caught on-film. But no one considered what might happen to actors that wore paint on a very long shoot--like many months--depleting themselves of sunlight.

Looking back on my own life being lean up until the age of 12ish, then super-fat in my teens and 20s, almost dying around the age of 30 and now being the fittest, leanest and strongest at the age of 45, I developed behaviors in my youth to 'cover up' as much as possible to 'hide the fat' from others. My parents took me on many vacations to Hawaii during my youth between the age of 12 and 18. I specifically remember doing everything I could to not take off my shirt in fear of what others would think about the fat on me. Funny enough, I always got into the water to boogie-board for hours on end in the ocean--the best form of grounding possible--and always coming back from vacations extremely refreshed. The irony there is amazing, as it created even more disease and problems in me at that time.

I'm actually thinking about flow-charting out the scientific mechanisms at some point. Flow-charts really help me pinpoint what's missing, what is more solid science and what is more speculation. Everything you just said above makes a ton of sense, I'll try to add to it.

    Arctic Zone:
    1. more CT and shivering ;)
    2. more EZ water potential from snow/ice
    3. snow back-reflects for a greater UV source?
    4. more ketotic eating, more DHA

Fur and leather are going to still give you grounding--free electons! Can't go wrong there to balance out excess protons. Food stores from the summer/fall should help out a lot too. Specific deficit of UV light over time is also going to make a huge difference individually.

Definitely with you on cycles... daily, seasonal... with me specifically, I'm getting a lot of nn-EMF all of the time at work, so every little bit of mitigation I can get in for me is a worthy cause including as much sun, as much grounding, good water, CT, seafood and blue-light blocking as possible for starters.

The quantlet webinar to go tomorrow tells you how light is topological stored Purple in the nucleus and red out to the periphery. We release it from the periphery and have to replace it via the assimilation on surfaces.

Which makes me wonder...do we recognize the light energy stored in food by its color? I was thinking about this this summer when I knew I could eat carbs but all I ever WANTED to eat in the way of carbs was blackberries and blueberries. Couldn't get enough of them. And......so purplish-blue they are almost black. Do they store purple light?

    Is our food literally color-coded?

I signed up for the Quantlet webinar last week. Looking forward to it!

Color-coding...yeah in an indirect sense. The specific light wavelength is what the plant desires for optimal use. If you look at photosynthesis, plants back-reflect more green than any other color. They don't wanna 'eat' green as to why we're all seeing it. Now bounce down the spectrum a few colors from green and you get yellow, orange, and then red. Plants love redlight. This makes sense because the wavelength is slower with red. But if you start at purple or even higher into the UV, you're storing more power because the wavelength is getting more compressed. Resveritrol is another huge smartboom(tm) if you listen to the Oct. webinar.

We do sense colors in everything but it is not conscious.

    Light penetration in the skin
(attenuation down to 1% occurs for light wavelengths of 250-280 nm at around 40 μm depth; for 300 nm at 100 μm; for 360 nm at 190 μm; for 400 nm at 250 μm; for 700 nm at 400 μm; for 1.2 μm at 800 μm; for 2 μm at 400 μm; for 2.5 μm at 1μ; and for 400 μm at 30 μm)

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/26399301 Now realize that your RBC's are filled with porphyrins. This is why when sunlight hits your skin it releases massive amounts of nitric oxide that vasodilates the arterioles of your skin to come to the top millimeter of your skin. This is the depth that UV light penetrates to the porphyrins can absorb all frequencies of UV light to deliver to every cell in the body. Mother Nature for the win.

I read somewhere recently about cats and dogs being able to see into the spectrum farther--not sure what side of visible light. In knowing the dogs can 'sniff' out cancer, I'm now wondering if they can see redlight, since I'm assuming there's more redlight emission from the dying.

In summer we replace redox shifted mitochondria so that in winter we have mitochondrial health. This is seasonal "mitochondrial maintenance". That's why ketosis in summer is a bad idea, as we need the carbs to go through cytochrome 1 for triplet ROS production and mitochondrial biogenesis. In the summer is when UVB light is more prominent and this is why UVB light and triplet oxygen are linked environmentally.

Cats and dogs see UV........we dont. We also dont see IR light. Why? Those are the two frequencies that are used for the eye clock and peripheral clock signaling. They are not used in the eye camera..........for this reason.

I try to be a rainbow in people's clouds, but I can't solve their climate...........only they can. I can only shed "light" on their environment.

This has motivated me to make an jpeg image showing a direct environment comparison between the way we lived life in 1915 compared to life in 2015- coming to my blog very soon.

Very similar to this sadness seeing how life could have looked like: http://mentalfloss.com/article/61495/12-photos-1915-san-francisco-worlds-fair-then-and-now

Now there is another story buried in this picture:When you see how UVC only penetrates 55 microns, and UVC is universally toxic to all life it should make you realize how destruction of the surfaces of things trumps the biochemistry of things way below it. This picture says a million words no paleo biochemist could understand with their conventional wisdom ideas. Robb Wolf and his biochemical buddies would have you believe that every cell has the same biochemistry and surface chemistry with light cannot influence it............Still think the master of the paleosphere is real bright?

I'm now thinking about how enjoyable the firepit is. On a visceral level. Clearly that IR penetrates bone and organ deep. For so many millennia it was just campfires at night, all that red light and IR. People gathered around it, enjoying life and each other. Recharging and healing both their bodies and their relationships.

How sad that people now gather around the "cool fire" (TV) which offers no warmth and healing, neither for their bodies nor their relationships.

IR light/heat penetrating to the bones and organs...hmmm.....can organs and bones store IR the way they accumulate and store minerals?

    Yes,mentioned in the Redox Rx
On an empirical level sunburn . you literally radiate heat when you are severely burnt. If you use a traditional reciperecipe -tomato slices- to alleviate it if the sunburn is severe the tomatoes have a slightly cooled look.
