low EMF ethernet cable

Discussion in 'The EMF Rx' started by motivatedhealthseeker, Aug 21, 2015.

  1. hi guys
I had ordered the 50ft cat 5E flat ethernet cable and hard wired the laptop but I am hearing a lot of RF EMF coming from the length of the wire. I am using a simple Am radio for this. So my questions is which is the best ethernet cable to use to decrease the EMF? Some on amazon say shielded and some say double shielded . Any difference there or the newer Cat 7 usually shielded anyway ? The router that I have does not have wireless capabilities so hard wiring should be enough to take care of EMF at that end but the ethernet cable is an issue. Any suggestions please?

Don't use the flat type, use the round type.

  3. Got it thanks! I guess not much shielding there because it's thinner and flatter? So is there any difference between the ones that state they are shielded/ double shielded or or is that basically a marketing gimmick?
