Just had an ASI panel pulled - not sure what to make of it? At 3 PM Cortisol levels are almost zero til nearly midnight & then pick back up. Not sure if avoiding blue light ect ect is making my body think it's bedtime at 3 PM? Is it a problem to have almost no cortisol at 3 PM thru midnight? IF so then how do you fix it ?? AM cortisol is perfect - no problems on that end of the clock. Thanks...........

    Your cortisol panel if off.
Cortisol Panel is a major part of Circadian Rhythm.
You want to find the reason why it is off.
Do you have you own ideas?
    List them.
Have you tried to implement those ideas?
    How that worked for you?

Mold comes to the top of my list & a bad car accident two years ago with a concussion - HPA axis is crapped out

tried all of the protocols and nothing works

Redox is a function of light buried in water created by mitochondria. Mold does not cause this......a lack of light does and the mold is a secondary issue because with a low redox you cannot power the immune system to fight mold issues. The key is focusing on on redox not detox first. EE12 blog 101

does that mean cortisol near zero after 3 pm is an issue? Will redox fix it or ??

    Mold is secondary to sunlight.
Mold is caused by lack of light.
    Get out,
    see sun,
    more better
    closer to equator better

    Car accident====>>pituitary screwed

    Every three months test
    all pituitary hormones
    and the next tier----->>
all hormones that respond to pituitary hormones
make new adjustments every three months
eventually you will find out that most pituitary hormones are ok and you have to care for 2-3 only.

12 hour fasting Glucose was 93 and then another one was 70.

12 hour fasting Leptin was 1.0 ng/mL about 4 years ago it was 9.5 ng/mL. Looks like the Epi-paleo diet and protocols made it worse or ???

    A1c 5.4 %

    Fasting Insulin was 6.9 Iu/mL

Fasting insulin could be better when at 2-3.
    Attempt to eat once/day.

    Post your complete cortisol test.
    times and numbers.

    morning 3.7 to 9.5

    noon 1.2 - 3.0

    5 pm 0.6 - 1.9

    9 pm 0.4 - 1.0

should leptin be higher than 1.0 ? seems like the epi-paleo diet drove it down too low. Hungry all the time now.

Insulin should be lower - how to fix all of these issues??

Morning and night cortisol are low.
    Follow natural daily light changes.

can't eat once a day with leptin at 1.0 - I started the epipaleo and other protocols my leptin level was 9.5. Seems like something went wrong.

    Some place in the past.
Likely on the bb before this one,
I think @Jack Kruse was advising against measuring leptin levels.

not sure what @Jack Kruse would have to say on this one?

  19. JanSz

    JanSz Gold

Note that @Jack Kruse does not say low or high leptin
    he says leptin resistant

It is not about leptin level
it is about your leptin being comfortable with the rest of you.
