I don't follow Jimmy much anymore, but I caught this link of the LC cruise that was held just last month, and his current size really shocked me. I take no pleasure in highlighting this, and I have no idea what is going on in his life or with his hacks; but it is noteworthy considering that he advocates so strongly for a particular diet, and he does so in a rather dogmatic way.

Got to love the blue light behind them...........I dont suspect he will ever get it because he makes his money using blue light. Sad. Nice guy but nutrition dogma destroys innovative ideas within nature and we often don't see things as they naturally are, we tend to perceive things as we see them now. Our lenses can blind us from an obvious truth.

I thought Jimmy had found a lot of success with water fasting? per Dr. Fung?

Caroline Fung is FOS in my book. I don't trust him at all. Steve Cooksey a former diabetic with a website feels the same. Jimmy is a nice guy is really realy lost. He is now even struggling to deal with Taubes and his recent shift away from Jimmy's dogma

I read this and I chuckled........most accurate comment tells you Taubes ia fraud: He failed physics.........so why would he ever consider the effects of sunlight and fake light on how the mitochondria handles glucose differently?

I told you in the OSF series I never trusted Taubes because of what he did to Prusiner's before his Nobel Prize for prions in 1997 . Taubes is ideolgue. I have no time for them.

One of the most wise statements I have seen recently was made about food today. Karen P said, " "Kempner’s Rice Diet program began at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 1939. The treatment was a simple therapy of white rice, fruit, juice, and sugar, and was reserved for only the most seriously ill patients. Although low-tech, the benefits of the Rice Diet far exceed those of any drug or surgery ever prescribed for chronic conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart and kidney failure, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, and obesity."
The truth is, the if we continue to demonize carbohydrates as we once demonized fats, we will effectively be in no better condition to understand the vast nuance of dietary intervention for metabolic diseases as we were in the days of Ancel Keys. History will continuously repeat itself until we pay close attention to information that doesn't fit our current ideology, and instead of fitting information to adapt to our ideology, we fit our ideology to adapt to the information." The key that food gurus miss that it is not the fuel we put into our Ferrari that matters..........it is the engine in that Ferrari that really matters and the engine is CALLED A MITOCHONDRIA.

I saw a podcast awhile ago with Mercola and Fung. Jimmy seemed to be doing extremely well and had lost a ton of weight. Everything sure went to hell in a hand basket very quickly.

I was really perplexed and concerned by Dr. Fung's stance on water fasting for renal patients.

The thing is tho ..... a lot of us ladies struggle to get all this right.

It goes without saying ..... sunlight, grounding and good water and avoiding blue light- we all get that absolutely.

I am seeing more and more that it is the blue light that is doing me in..... but there is so much I need to read, so much I need and want to learn......

how do we juggle all this?

How? Focus on what matter as you get older or sicker is the key.........that key is not food.

This is slightly confusing to me and upsetting.

I once heard Dr. Jack say that it can take up to 2 years to become really well fat adapted. After changing diet and intermittent fasting for about a year and a half, I started to really get what Dr. Jack was talking about. I started to recognize a complete absence of hunger or cravings of any kind. A few months ago I came across several of Dr. Fungs videos on youtube. His thoughts on fasting really resonated with me.

I have been randomly fasting now for about a couple months; 24-60 hour fasts on a fairly irregular schedule. Probably eating an average of 4 days out of 7. I feel really good and have broken through some weight loss plateaus using it as a tool.

So,simple question.....Do I need to stop? Last thing I wanna do is jack myself up...I thought this fasting was a really good thing.....

The whole feast / famine concept sorta aligned with some of my thought processes lately, dammit at to hell if its just a bunch of hogwash....so confused.

Fung and Moore just talk about food and forget the most important part........the light you allow. Your question seems to also miss this point. Focus on what matters most and not what the herd believes most.

Kevin Hall is a PhD in physics who deos nutrition research. He was recently selected by NuSi run by Taubes and Attia to do another metabolic ward study on ketosis metabolic advantage. The benefit was very small at about 57 calories. Jimmy Moore/Fung/ Eades and the LCHF food guru's lost their minds on the results. They should not have been. This is the 4 straight metabolic ward trial that shows food cannot do squat. The key has always been the engine (mito) and not the fuel when it comes to redox power. Food gugur's only think in ways they can understand. They have no idea how the light in the environment effects carbohydrate use and ROS/RNS in mitochondria.

All a cell has to do to create energy from sunlight, without any fancy electric power grid is to simply expose water to sunlight in the presence of phosphorus laden hydrated proteins to cause electron excitation. The mitochondria in every cell is where the exciton or excited electron falls back to the ground state with no time lapse in that fall and all the things you see in the picture above happens to create life.

I do glasses in front of screens. Im in the Sun a lot(am a farmer). I go barefoot or wear my grounding sandals when I can. I don't have the special bulbs which I know you use; I need to work on that... I go to bed by 8:30-9 and wake up and go to work with sun-up year round. Do as much as practical to limit the various wifi and emf shit around.

Are you saying the fasting is bull shit or no? Give it to me straight Doc! Please. There is no one that I respect more then you on this stuff, Your like the Source!!

Fung is more about fasting than any particular diet. He also tells his patients to use whatever type of fasting works best for them - be it intermittent, short term, or long term fasting. Same with diet. He has found that most of his patients do best on a HFLC diet, but he doesn't insist that all his patients use it.

I don't think he ever made a claim that fasting is the answer for perfect health, but that it has been successful at curing type 2 diabetes in many of his patients.

Jack, you have recommended intermittent fasting and I think you used short term fasting when you lost all your weight. Isn't what Fung recommends just a piece of the puzzle (or quilt)?

He has made some unbelievable claims in his podcasts and his live talks. They border on malpractice in my opinion.

The business about kicking in to some hyper state of autophogy....is that junk?

I gotta tell you this really bursting my bubble. Truth hurts sometimes, and I'm a big boy, I can take it. But gee wiz

Many people have privately contacted me about JM and Fung. I told them I think JM has no idea that he is fleecing people because I do not think he is smart enough to realize it. He just gets close to providers to bounce things off and then sells himself as an expert to non science LC followers.

Autophagy works but not the way these two think
