Im working on a new blog.......and I want your input. CT FAQ's ............

    Dr. K, you've mentioned a number of times doing 3 hour CT sessions.... for most of us this is impossible. Are you saying to get your results we need to put in that kind of time?

    Does being cold adapted make one more intolerant of a hot climate in the summer?

    The obvious questions are:

    how long will it take me to be COld adapted?

    When will I start to see benefits of CT?

    Under what circumstance should I stop doing CT?

    Can I do too much CT?

    When will I see the full effects of CT?

    What are the side effects of CT?

    How will I know when I'm cold adapted?

    When is the best time/worst time to do CT?

    What is the ideal water temp for CT? If I can't do 55, is 65 degrees even worth doing?

    If I am at the cold tub stage in protocol , should I still do face dunks?

    How can I become cold adapted more quickly?

    How do I maximize the effects of CT?





    I know the answers to most of these but for FAQ, these are off the top of my head.

    No quite the opposite. Your inner heat-regulator should be more tuned, meaning you will tolerate heat better too.



    I think, based on what we've written about in this forum, a lot of us want to know more about the initial mayhem, and how long its expected to last. Also so pointers to what sort of side-effects CT has that might be considered "negative" (detox is never fun), and how to push that along.

    Please talk about how to maximize CT.... is there something to a compression garment or not? would we have to be moving, like in Vasper, to get this lactic acid/HGH benefit?

The user wears compression cuffs on the arms and legs and core-cooling panels on the chest and head. During exercise, the machine traps large amounts of lactic acid in the body, stimulating the pituitary gland and producing more HGH or human growth hormone.

    CT has helped tremendously with my years of insomnia. Weeks into the protocol however, I am also now having daytime fatigue, sleepiness. Is there such thing as too much DHEA? Can I expect this to normalize as I continue?

    After some point does the law of diminishing returns set in? How much CT would one need a week to maintain what they got if they are happy with it?

    1-What influences SHBG level, how to make it go up, how to make it go down, same for Cortisol Binding Globulin (Transcortin)

    2-Why DHEAs falls down as we age, how to prevent it

    3-Why TotalTestosterone falls down as we age, how to prevent it, assume no trauma

    4-Why men on HRT, with properly corrected steroid hormone panel, still needs PDE5 (Cialis or other) (but at least responds to it, while previously he did not)(how to eliminate need for Cialis).

    5-How to restore youthful refractory period

    6-Assuming correct pituitary input, describe sequence of comprehensive thyroid hormone panel evaluation

    7-What would you check and correct first, before you would commence with thyroid hormones supplementation. Do you really favor porcine thyroid only or would you also accept Cytomel. Antibodies, how to get rid of them.

    8-men on HRT often see their Hgb, HCT, RBC going up, that prevents them from correcting lagging Ferritin levels. What are the desirable ferritin levels.

    9-some have a low cholesterol, how to increase it, what to check

    10-practical pointers to decrease Fibrinogen (nattokinase have not worked)

    11-what would you think when someone (white, 6'00", 170#) would produce 7.5L urine on daily basis.

    12-women on HRT usually have their hormones adjusted for day 19-21 (maximum), menstruating, or constant mid level, postmenopause. Men's hormone levels (prog/E) are highly correlated to women's day 3-4. Many men have highly depleted preg & prog levels. They are easily correctable with use of pregnenolone pills. Women could greatly benefit if doctor would check day 3-4 levels and made neccesary corrections using pregnenolone (rather than progesterone). I am assuming that many women would not need (variable) progesterone doses at all. comments pls



    13- dr Kruse, you are often talking about prevalence of high cortisol. At first it got me confused, then I realized that you are likely referring to high afternoon or night cortisol. Some people who posted their test results have low morning cortisol, and likely low 24hr cortisol production. Most people I seen posting results, have that situation.

    With that in mind, please give us cortisol story one more time. (Exclude Cushings).

    it is good to know that it exists,

    it would be even better to expand on it

    or possibly it is there, let us know where, plese

    The sergeant were actually trying to help both. The fatties would get bounced for being too big, the thins would get bounced for being to thing. There is a small spread. If you avoided the cake in the first place, after being put on weight probation, then it would be different. They were being called out for their behavior, no one was pretending they were fat from not eating cake. It is very hard to choose not to put something in your mouth, but you are a representation of what goes in your mouth and relationships are based on what comes out of your mouth. It is not intolerance to speak the truth, its self intolerance to dislike the truth about yourself. I love people that can laugh at their imperfections, while genuinely trying to improve them. That's why I like this blog....everyone is genuinely trying. If somethings not working, you dig deeper. I grew light years when Dr. Kruse helped me with the SGHB understanding. It got me going in the right direction to ask the right questions. Who knew fruit caused magnesium dump, cause no progesterone and a wack a doo thyroid? I understand about addiction... I quit smoking two different times in my life. Its hard. I know heroin addicts that swear they miss smoking more than any other drug. You know what was harder for me? Wheat... I got the opioid withdrawals so badly. If I hadn't gotten the good results of no joint pain first, maybe I wouldn't have made it. I happen to like good information, no matter how much it sucks. I love eating apples. Heck, I thought they were estrogenic.... NOPE... they dump your magnesium and unbind your hormones.

    I am mostly interested in how transitioning to summer temps and foods works, also when should CT not be used, and the differences between CT methods such as soaking, showers, air, etc. Also, what about swimming in cold water? Are total head dunks OK?
