To make it short and sweet, I was a massive hormonal mess after the birth of my 3rd child in late 2010. When the baby was 7 months old I decided it was time for change, and I went primal. Its been 9.5 months, and I have uncovered and fixed many health-issues since then, but many things are still a work in progress. I know we all appreciate a good visual in order to really see the success I'm talking about!

ETA: I followed the Leptin-rx from July 2011, was LS (except liver) from Sep 2011, started post-Rx protocol 2 months ago, and CT 4 weeks ago. I focus on protein/fats, heavy lifting with multiple reps, 1-2 sprints weekly. Average calories pr day 1800-2200, 70 percent being from fat like coconut oil.

My before photos, at 190 lbs:

After 5.5 months, about 40 pounds down:

After about 8 months (7 months of Leptin-rx eating, 1 month of post-rx protocol)

This photo was taken a few days ago, after 3 weeks of daily CT-sessions. My weight remains 47 pounds down from starting-weight, but the fat is going, and the muscle is slowly packing on. I expect my next set of photos (a few months from now) to be totally awesome!

The way I see it, I've only just started my transformation. In all those pics my BF% was still quite high (29% being the lowest in the last photo). First goal is 25% BF, then who knows.... :D

I have been using a range of supplements on and off. Didn't know I had hormonal issues until 8.5 months into this WOE... turns out I'm quite high in estradiol/E2. And my liver=function is below average... so I'm taking EstroFactors (metagenics-brand) to promote healthy estragen-metabolism, and have done so for the last 4 weeks. Its really helping, I can tell by mood/sex drive/breast tenderness. Most of my results on the outside were due to Leptin-rx, clean eating, good sleep and HIIT/slow walking.

I had all the signs of LS within 6 weeks, but I stuck to the protocol for 7 months because I just loved it and it worked so well for me. I should probably add that my 50 grams of protein in the mornings were down to 35 gr within 3 weeks. I simply couldn't handle the full amount. Most days I ate 25-35 grams of protein in my BAB.
