I came across some terms while reading about a study on Ad Libitum feeding versus Every-Other-Day feeding of mice with and without exercise. One of the terms was " hypertrophied mitochondria". Hypertrophied mitochondria looked more oval/round, if I understand correctly, as opposed to long-and-slim. Anybody know which type would be optimal? The EOD mice were provided less food on the "fasting" days so they weren't starving on those days.
