Thanks Jack.. this makes things clearer with regards to how the different types of neurons within the nerves of the Retina play a part in how light signalling actually occurs.

    Hi nonchalant!

    Do you mean this:
"The easiest way to control people to be passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum."

If so, it's from the blog Ubiquitination Rx: Implications for Mankind. Look under point 3 in that blog.

Jack has said the same thing elsewhere too. For example on facebook on July 10 and on the forum in July and also way back in 2013. The Ubiquitination Rx blog might be the one where you saw it relatively recently. :)

That's it! Thanks so much, Michelle.

The easiest way to control people to be passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion, but allow very lively debate within that spectrum. I have a sense this is why nature controls the light spectrum in us to maintain order of our proteins.

  5. Control is an illusion. No matter how powerful you need to make that illusion. Leadership 101. LOL

Just to be clear, by "descrescendo" you mean -- as the intensity of light diminishes at sunset melanopsin is triggered

Or, rather, as there is less violet/blue light in the sky at the 435-465 nm range melanopsin is activated (not sure of the right verb)?

(On the slow train here. It takes me a while to put it all together.)
