Is there a sure way to know if it's safe to ground yourself using those grounding devices that plug into the wall? My house is in a rural area and testing showed that my house was properly grounded.

I think it is best to get a ground checker and check each socket just in case .

Thanks Shannon. I did check all my plug with a groupe checker and they are all fine.

But I read sonewhere that Dr Kruse said it’s not always safe because of the electrical grid. I was wondering if this apply only when the plug wasn’t properly grounds or if one is living in downtown LA and if I’d be getting a benefit where I live. I was hoping to get an extra 8 hours of grounding!
