Either I am missing something important

we are in lala land already.

    Life Extension Magazine September 2012

After a dozen years or more of close examination of detailed

red cell lipid analysis at BodyBio, we have witnessed and

documented repeated over-expression of omega 3 fatty acids

EPA and DHA, with the ultimate suppression of omega 6

fatty acids. BodyBio analyzes the patient’s complex lipid

biochemistry through a computerized report, which is then

forwarded to the physician. Over 90% are reporting high

EPA and DHA levels most often from taking an excess of

fish oil. The patients often record their fish oil (and fish intake) along with their current supplements on their medical

history form. The elevated levels of EPA and DHA predominantly come from suggestions by their regular physicians

to try fish oil. With the encouragement now coming from an authority, the over-expression of EPA and DHA has

    reached epidemic

This (90% are reporting high EPA and DHA)

does not give good picture of situation )

One will already qualify to this 90% club by taking 1/20 of the recomended dose.

Jansz youre not missing anything.......but context. DHA in supplements acts differently than it does in vivo. BG 5 laid that out. the key is the ration in the CNS.......if it is right the rest of the body follows.

The big issue with the Kane's are RBC analysis does not equal CM of neurons. It is a proxy.

Janzz you are turning into a road bump for all of my bright ideas...

I'm posting this in your thread til I can learn what the heck it means or someone can translate.

DHA in a capsule is like eating a bushel full of fish......youre better off eating fish instead to get the correct biologic dose and let your body's biochemistry do its magic

    Made of algaes:

    Life's DHA- Vegetarian- 200mg $34.95

    Nature's Way Neuromins 200mg DHA

    But Nutricology is making

NutriCology DHA Fish Oil Concentrate -- 90 Softgels

    Serving Size: 2 Softgels

Fish Oil (from Sardine, Anchovy, Mackerel) 600 mg

    DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid) 270 mg

    EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) 24 mg

In this cycle I am taking my chances with one pill of

    NutriCology DHA Fish Oil Concentrate

(on top of all the seafood)

I picked DHA from Nutricology (made from fish)

over the others (made from algae)

I have a good vibes about this company.

Please point me to good articles published by either company,

    may be worth reading.
  6. If your body didn't need these, (already had sufficient amounts) why doesn't it just burn it for fuel if there was on excess?

Not a doc, but I think it sends different signals based on different abundances.

If body operates correctly, it likely would do that with seafood. It is different with seafood extracts, different, larger, processing capacity is required to process it.

fish, krill oil= commercial product, not a food

  9. Our food is the ultimate environmental signal, is it not? Along with night and day of course!

That research was all done by Dr. Nick Bazan where I did my residency. Not UCSD.
