Extracting the comment-section from the blogs :)

Discussion in 'Meet and Greet' started by jenslangenbach_germany, May 13, 2021.

  1. hey everybody, hope everyone is enjoying their day.

i just built a little tool, that let's you extract the comment-section from the blogpost and put it in a handy little text-file that you can print.

as we all know, the gold nuggets are in the blog-post :)

so if anyone is interested, let me know and i'll get you hooked up :)

    cheers.

ps: if this is NOT wanted by the admin-team, please let me know !!

  2. Wow - yes please

  3. My pleasure!

    How to:

Extract the file anywhere you want. Open the "JackKruseDotComCommentExtractor.ConsoleRunner.exe"-File and paste all the links to the blogposts you want to export.

Those will then be exported to a subfolder named "Exports".

Feel free with any feedback you have :)

(I then copy-paste them to word and shift the layout around so it doesnt cost too much wood to print them out :) )

PS: Just found out that it throws an exception when using it with a blogpost that doesn't have any comments. just a headsup for everyone.
