Equator and Vitamin D

    We know we need to get into the tropics to make Vitamin D. But as you get closer to the equator, do you make more vitamin D? Would you make the maximum amount at the equator? The sun's rays strike the earth at the smallest angle at the equator. Besides light stability at the equator, as Jack has said, how does the angle at which the sun hits the earth affect vitamin D levels and UV light intensity?
