EMF noise from LED lamps shuts down airport-to-airplane communication near airport

  1. EMF noise from LED lamps shuts down airport-to-airplane communication

A building in the flight path to and from Værnes airport, Norway, was equipped with 13,500 LED lamps (with switching power supplies, no doubt) and generated so much EMF noise that it shut down the communication between airplanes and the airport.

Nothing in the newspaper story about health issues, but I suspect it would be "interesting" to track the labs of the poor people working in that building.

Just think of the risk factor when driverless cars become common. .... May the force be with you (or not).
