Donat Mg® is a magnesium-sodium-hydrogencarbonate-sulphate-acidulous natural mineral water.

'It is characterised by its exceptionally high mineral content, with over 13 g of matter per litre (together with CO2), of which magnesium alone accounts for 1000 mg/l and calcium for around 300 mg/l. It also contains many other elements and compounds that are beneficial to our health.

Donat Mg is an acidulous or mineral water, which means that it contains more than 1000 mg of its own CO2/l at the spring'.

Would a mineral water high in magnesium, sodium and hydrogen like this be beneficial for autonomic dysfunction, hydration or fatigue?

Update on this Michael? Curious to hear your results...have not seen any commercially avail mineral waters with a profile like this.

    Hi Benjamin

This water neutralises stomach acid, not great for me. Great for those who are on drugs and can use this instead.

It also helps with constipation and is full of naturally occurring sodium.

Thanks. Did you suffer from poor digestion after using the water or was it more of a risk you would not take due to the bicarbonate levels?

Bicarb is the issue for me due to low stomach acid.

Many people over 20 yo have this problem.
Every time one gets heartburn think low stomach acid.
99% of heartburns should not follow with stomach acid reducing stuff.
    Stomach acid
    is not much about digesting
it is more about killing bad stuff.
The lower sphincter, or cardiac sphincter, at the upper portion (cardia) of the stomach. This sphincter prevents the acidic contents of the stomach from moving upward into the esophagus.
That sphincter closes when stomach acidity reaches value X.
When acidity is less it opens.----->> that is how heartburn happens.
