Developing tolerance on sublingual? Did CT spot icing cause it?

Is that possible? Starting to suspect I am....3 days of a weight plateau, noticeably increased and earlier hunger (had to have an extra protein the past 2 days) ... in the middle of what I wanted to be a long round, but hitting me now just about the 27 day mark... I tried a CT spot icing (once) just about when the hunger began to rise...wondering now if I shot myself in the proverbial foot. :(

That's what others of us have noticed. CT on hcg seems to cause more hunger. But I was immersing when I had hunger. Spot CTing might not cause that problem. Let's tweak your dose before we assume anything. What dose are you on? RX sublingual or homeopathic?

Hi, Colleen! Sublingual, Corion, 150 IU. Just started a new vial, have now been stalled 7 days... :( Hunger can hit mid-morning (as opposed to being able to wait until lunchtime), and also late evening (so hungry last night, had to have an extra fruit in order to get to sleep).

Stalls are normal. Corion is very strong. Try skipping your dose this morning. If better by 4, you could take evening's but cut it drastically, to 100 or so. Then tomorrow try 125 2x a day. Good luck! If you're not feeling better by about 4 or 5, let me know.

Thanks; unfortunately already took this am's dose, but can skip tonight's and see how I feel tomorrow am, then reduce the dose as you suggest and see how it goes. Will report out how it's going tomorrow pm.

Your experience and advice is much appreciated.

Great news, Colleen - I've started to lose again, and the hunger's back down again. I never had this sort of titration issue the last (and first) time I did a round, so thanks again so much for your voice of experience!

    I'm so glad you're better!

Alas, I might have to swing back the other way, increase the hcg now - hunger's breaking through again. I guess I'll try going back to the 150 IU dose.

The only other explanation that I can think of is that I'm close to my 'true' weight - which I sincerely hope is not the case...

You may still be taking too much. It's not uncommon to have to go under 125 and stay there.

The only way to know for sure is to skip a dose. If much better by late afternoon, you'll know for sure your dose is too high again.

Hunh...then I guess I'll skip tonight, then bump it down 25 more units to make it 100...sure hope I can get the balance right.

Woke early this morning, already hungry...skipped a.m. dose also. Thus far today, eating to hunger, had food at: 6 am, 10:40 am, 1:30 pm - total so far of about a protein and a half, a fruit, and a veg. Napped, just woke and starting to feel hungry (though not quite ravenous yet).

So...continue to titrate down? Or am I now getting too little?

If the dose is too high, you should feel better through the evening. You can't tell until at least mid afternoon.

Ok; I'll do the new smaller (100 IU) dose starting tonight, and see how I feel tomorrow and the day after. Thanks!

I wouldn't go down that far. You were doing 150 2x a day, correct? I'd try 125 first.

Except I just got done trying 125 IU at the end of this week...then was starving by mid-afternoon yesterday (ie, I get up kind of early - 6 am-ish, so that lately I'm getting genuinely hungry for lunch by mid-morning, then starving for supper by mid-afternoon).

I could try the 125 IU again and see if I'm ok for the rest of the weekend.

It is true that all this trouble started with a new bottle of Corion...

Oh okay. I missed that part. Then yes, take it down to 100. Corion is very strong and it's a fresh bottle.
