Core Body Temperature

    For discussion's sake, let's accept the idea that a lower core body temp during sleep increases immunity and lengthens lifespan. Do ketone bodies from a ketogenic diet in and of themselves have any sort of regulatory effect on nighttime core temp? Or is it the calorie restriction that is the deciding factor in lowering night time core temp (such as in the study linked below)? Could it be as simple as adding MCT's to the diet to make ketone bodies?
