CoQ10 Depletion From Oxidative Stress

I have heard that Q10 gets depleted when it has to function primarily as an antioxidant. In the absence of sufficient Glutathione and other antioxidants, I was lead to believe that it would be used up scavenging free radicals and not be available for its other important functions. This was a reason for using it with sufficient ALA and other neuroprotective antioxidants. I still have a lot to learn and I would appreciate any help in framing this consideration, etc..

CoQ10 is a small part of a larger complex redox system in the cell to catch and control electrons.
