We all contain the powers of wellness in us......there is a doctor in you that few of you tap because what he Rx's is not convenient to you choices and desires. To learn and not to act is really not learning. To know and not to do is really not understanding. There is a lot of that going around here now. You wanted the target........for optimal now you have it. Let us see what you do with it.

I watched a TV programme a few years ago about dementia and at the end the expert was asked what was the most important thing to do to avoid dementia and he basically said be sociable, maintain good friendships, interact with other people.

Now after 6 months in a nnemf hell nursing home, through a UK winter, the dementia train for my mum is going at high speed. In terms of care and comfort, the place is great. Mum won't try and make friends, because she thinks she is making a fool of herself because she is deaf, (she has to try and hear or lip read, process that, think of a response and then answer, by which time either the conversation has moved on, or she has misheard and answers a different question). But what I've observed is that others who are the more sociable seem to withstand the same nnemf environment and lack of the 3 legged stool much better. Not immunity to dementia, but there seems to be more resilience somehow .... They look forward to things, enjoy each other's company .....Dopamine from sociability slowing the dementia train?

If you could use some extra cash and don't mind trading your health for it, enter into a contract to host one on your property. This pastor will earn $1500-5000/mo for this one. Once it's installed, think you can change your mind? Oops, think again, it's a 30-40 year contract. Want to sell your property? Try doing that with a cell tower installed that can't be removed. Decisions come with trade-offs. Heavily monetized decisions come with big costs that you may not see upfront. The County approved this, but guess what they couldn't consider when approving or denying a new cell tower? Health. That's right, the Telecommunications Act of 1996 in the USA made it illegal to consider health effects when approving or denying cell towers. But, some communities are wising up and finding work arounds a by objecting for other reasons, such as property values. You might be shocked to know that Big Telco targets old age homes because they need the revenue too!!!

That congregation needs the Quantlet now a whole lot more than church FYI

Today science and religion have us worshiping "things" we cannot sense or see well, and both are having interesting and massive effect on how we live our life. People should at least be given the ability to worship an invisible force that actually does something positive for their lives........you perspective depends how your view the problem.

I think you are absolutely correct Inger ......love does require a lot of energy - especially for women because we are care givers. But, as well, when we are loved deeply all the care and love comes back to us 100fold.

Jack has said many, many times we first have to be good enuf for ourself and then we can love deeply ....and we can then be loved deeply.

    Mother Teresa's Rules
"Every moment in time gives us the chance to love, to learn, to dream, and to become more than we ever imagined"
People are often unreasonable, illogical and self- centered.
    Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
    Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies.
    Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you.
    Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend your years building, someone could destroy overnight.
    Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous.
    Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow.
    Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

You see, if the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Einstein employed thought experiments called Gedankenexperiments (conceptual) in his mind before he actually materialized his theories.

If a light ray is bent in an accelerated system, then, according to the principle of equivalence, light should also be bent by gravity, contradicting the everyday expectation that light will travel in a straight line (unless it passes from one medium to another). If its path is curved by gravity, that must mean that “straight line” has a different meaning near a massive gravitational body such as a star than it does in empty space. This was a hint that gravity should be treated as a geometric phenomenon.

Now think about what was said about gravity and geometry in April 2016?

Einstein did get something wrong though. Do you know what it was?

Was it that information can't go faster than the speed of light?

  17. Dr Kruse, some people say Einstein got a LOT wrong! This is a heavily 'sciency' critique

or this is from a more 'political' point of view

I am not really in a position to evaluate all this...................but I suspect Einstein is built up well past his real 'importance' and a lot of it has to do with politics both at the time post WW1 and still today for similar reasons
