I'm doing OK too in my two mobile homes in the sticks, can't stream videos unless I go back to our flat a mile and half away, which I'm avoiding, but fortunately most of my book collection is here. I can see my grandchildren, even if I cant hug them, as they live next door. Lots of blowing kisses. And mostly complete privacy for some sunbathing, although I don't think DH will forget to tell me again that he's had a phone call that a delivery is only 5 minutes away.... 5 seconds notice was cutting it fine when he finally thought about where I was likely to be - but looking on the bright side I've learned how fast I can move ...

took nicorette 4mg, vt c , zinc and quercetin.
woke up late for me 9amish.
continued next day on protocol adding propolis spray every 2 hrs.felt not great.but no sorethroat or difficulty to breathe ...

next evening took xtra melatonin 3mg.
    slept until 10:30
    felt good
better and better today felt amazingly good.

what was that??? suspect wifi even mine switch off when not in use.

Oh man, Anne  good you are doing great now!
What comes to my mind... maybe do not go and read books before sun is up, just stay in bed instead? Maybe it was too much for your body, even the red light has a different effect than darkness.
I myself never go up and do something if I wake up in the night. I just lie in bed in darkness. It is fine, a beautiful silent cozy time with me ;) :) I sometimes get really cool ideas and thoughts in the early morning hours in bed :)

Glad you are feeling better Anne. :) I think there's a difference between using a red light for therapy, and as a lifestyle choice. As a reading light it is a lifestyle choice and that's where the problem may lay - if I think of the "recipe" of light varying throughout the day, and then the frequencies reflected off the moon at night, or candle light, it is never monochromatic. Visible red is stimulating if its intense, it can also raise intraocular pressure, which makes me think that in theory it could also mess with circadian rhythm if its used during what should be total darkness. Then there's flicker .... Using a small torch with a red or amber filter to find the way safely to the bathroom and back for a pee is one is one thing, but I've trained myself to do that in total darkness, and I keep a bottle of water within easy reach. :)

the above for everyday life in general
does not mean we have to entertain people that dont suit us, if not for us, just leave them,
but still in the process send them love .

    Uh :(
Is there any chance you could tell them how bad it is?
Some people are open to it... it does not hurt to try. But maybe it is too late as he already did.

I told my landlord lady it is very bad and she sad she will not install it. Hopefully never. But so far we have no.

I take care of her horses this week when she is on vacation. And cat, and goldfish.. and plants.
I try to have a good relationship with her as good as I can, to be able to ask for things I need.. like shutting outside lights off and wifi in the night off... so far my strategy have worked pretty well.
