Wow, thanks, that's fascinating. Tomorrow is supposed to be good weather and I will spend some of my work-at-home day outside with bare feet on the ground.

    There's always room for improvement.

I was doing so well at the beginning of May. I must go back and figure out where I went wrong.

your environment is that answer...........You will never get well in the same environment you got sick within.

    It's axiomatic.

Yes! I started getting better when I got out of my no windows, HUGE wifi center, office to a job with much less wifi, a window to the outdoors, and natural light in my office. I ate fish for breakfast during the winter, but I could never eat enough to meet the 55 grams threshold, had to go to whey & egg smoothies to meet requirements, and got an immediate burst in energy.

I will figure out what has changed since May and see if I can address it.

Thanks so much for this! I am using this as a chance to revamp everything I added since May, and niacin qualifies. I felt soooo good in May I must have been doing something right. Now to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

NASA and the POTS specialists assert that astronauts get a POTS-like illness due to deconditioning of the muscles. I have always found fault with that explanation since POTS and neurocardiogenic syncope cut me down while I was very active and had great muscle tone. When I got really bad I also had my first outbreak of Shingles. I was not being careful about blue light exposure at the time and was being exposed to increased nnEMF at work and in a hotel while in the process of moving. I think the JK explanation makes much more sense!

Of course it does.......its all science. In fact the 2015 August webinar is all about this mechanism.

Just read the links you posted. I also had raging titers of CMV and EBV when they were finally drawn, and of course developed intracranial hypertension (the other astronaut disease) shortly after the dysautonomia exacerbation.

Trying to use the "doctor in my head": Along with blue light and nnEMF, do you think thiamin deficiency could also be a condition of existence that is playing a role in POTS? See http://www.hormonesmatter.com/thiamine-deficiency-causes-problems/ .

I recently learned that metformin can theoretically cause thiamin deficiency, and I have been on high dose metformin for PCOS for 8 years. I think thiamine deficiency could be a missing piece of my puzzle (in addition to practicing your principles) and be playing a role in pseudohypoxia (which this seems to back up http://www.hormonesmatter.com/vitamin-therapy-paradox/ ) .

Some alarm bells went off in my head when I realized POTS looks a lot like a combo of wet and dry Beriberi, and that is when I found the pieces I linked above. My hands and feet have been numb and tingling ever since the autumn of the great dysautonomia exacerbation, so that would go along with Beriberi too it seems.

From what you have written, it seems that the sugar Lonsdale writes about and blue light are pretty much interchangeable.

I'm back! Post shingles. Man, I'd wish it on Stalin, but that was an excruciating experience.

So my doctor prescribed gabapentin for the nerve pain, and judging from the time I tried to sleep through the night without waking up to take it, I still need it like nobody's business. And I seem to get along with it very well.

Back on track with the program, cleaning up my food (which was very messed up with two sick people in the house) sleeping well, but had to order new sun readers; I've got blurry vision that comes and goes, just like Herxheimer reactions (my husband was on long-term antibiotic treatment.)

So am I detoxing somehow? And I feel better than I have since May, taking care to go slow because I got too enthused early in the summer. What is the gabapentin doing? Because people are telling me "the old me" is back and they know the difference.

Spectracell Micronutrient Analysis is my first test.
It tells functional levels of 34 micronutrients.
Majority of common supplements including niacin.

Fatty Acids Analysis is my second test.
