‘Bad fat’ may be good for cancer patients . . .

    Well, Dr. K said that Warburg's metabolism wasn't the whole story.
    Interesting, Da-mo. Whole lot more energy in fat than in fermenting carbs.

    I don't understand the link to cancer. The Warburg Effect kicks in with cancer cells due to the disruption in mitochondrial function that blocks the cell's ability to derive energy from the ETC. It can only use glucose as fuel, which is presumably why going ketogenic helps. Fat burning liberates ketones, which healthy cells can use as fuel, but not cancer cells.
