Nutrition, food, and health has been at the center of my life since a child. When too young to understand, one of my siblings had an eating disorder that stuck with me ever since. Wanting to TRULY improve the health of others caused me to divert from traditional medical training. I was not a favorable student anyways since I always questioned their dogmatic beliefs in medicine, and lifestyle. This made me feel like an outcast as well, even when switching to nutrition, there was still missing information.
After continuing my own nutrition education privately for years, I discovered/worked with Ryan Carter. He was an inspiration to see someone living out my future goals: freedom. Health and lifestyle freedom through virtual work.
For better or worse, I never became an MD or certified nutritionist because I knew the information being taught was based on skewed information to say the least. It was obvious, and if the health of the population wasn't enough, I learned through MDs and nutritionist explaining the problems with their schooling.
However, this is my journey. I may need to go back to school so I can work as a clinician, although I truly wish there was a better way. This website feels like a start. I am here to learn, listen, absorb, and grow. Unlearn, relearn, and apply so I am not dependent on others, but also wise enough to know when to ask for help.Interact
