Dr K recommends P/E2 ratio at 500
Take this calculator
and figure out what 500 means.
I will help you:
That may be good approach during exercising, but other than that I feel something is amiss.
Dr K always brings example of Sherpas.
They eat lots of fat and are able to work hard.
But also they drink only small amounts of water.
It is not about the water we drink, it is more about water we are able keep.
So, studying why we expel, cant hold to the water, may have give us needed perspective.

Many people, especially the ignorant ones, want to punish you for speaking the truth for being correct, for being who you are. Never apologize for being who you are, for being light years ahead of your time. If you are right and you know it, speak your mind. Even if you are a minority of one, the truth remains the truth. Live it!!!
Progesterone was 3.5 ng/ml
Estradiol was 138 pg/ml
T-3 Free was 2.5 pg/ml
Estrogen Total was 705 (she reduced my compound cream after these labs)
Pregnenalone was 28 ng/dl
DHEA Sulfate was 24 ug/dl

The other, what was tested (serum, saliva, urine, something else).
Another monkey wrench may be using creams.
Assuming that they are blood draws
Your pregnenolone is super low
Your DHEAs is super low
progesterone is likely low even if the test was done in first half of cycle.
Likely you should not be using estrogen creams, specially when facing this low progesterone.
Supplementing with testosterone likely could have waited or is not need at all.
If you would raise your DHEAs from current 24 ug/dl ---->to desirable (Women 275-400 μg/dL)
your testosterone would likely go up in the process.
When having such a low pregnenolone it make no sense to supplement with progesterone (and getting sleepy in the process)
How about supplementing with pregnenolone
use pregnenolone product that actually works
shows up on blood tests
shows up on blood tests
I mention this because very often when using creams there is difficulty of testing, and the game switches into trying to figure out how person feels.
Feelings are fleeting, unreliable.
You may want to discuss with your doctor following scenario:
Drop testosterone and estrogen supplementation.
Supplement with pregnenolone and DHEA (available over the counter)
pregnenolone Micronized Lipid Matrix from Nutricology, 150mg tabs
DHEA Micronized Lipid Matrix from Allergy Research, 50 mg
Start with two tablets each, at wakeup and two tablets each 3-4 hrs latter
Month++ latter, on day 3-4 of menstrual cycle draw blood at LabCorp at 7:30AM and at noon
do this tests:
1 ------- Pregnenolone, Mass Spectrometry--Test Number: 140707 CPT Code: 84140
4 ------- Progesterone--Test Number: 004317 CPT Code: 84144
5 ------- Cortisol, Free, Serum, With CBG (Endocrine Sciences) Test Number: 500440 CPT Code: 82533; 84449
6 ------- Cortisol, AM & PM Test Number: 104000 CPT Code: 82533(x2) (7:30AM, 12PM)
7 ------- Corticotropin Releasing Hormone (CRH)
8 ------- Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) Sulfate--Test Number: 004020 CPT Code: 82627
9 ------- Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA)--Test Number: 004100 CPT Code: 82626
10 ------- Androstenedione, LCMS--Test Number: 004705 CPT Code: 82157
11 ------- Testosterone, Total, Serum Test Number: 004226 CPT Code: 84403
12 ------- Testosterone, Free and Weakly Bound--Test Number: 143255 CPT Code: 84402; 84403
13 ------- SHBG
16 ------- Estrogens, Total; Test Number: 004549 CPT Code: 82672
17 ------- Estradiol, Sensitive Test Number: 140244 CPT Code: 82670
18 ------- Estradiol Free, Equilibrium Dialysis, With Total Estradiol, HPLC/MS-MS (Endocrine Sciences) Test Number: 500649 CPT Code: 82670; 84999
19 ------- Estrone, Serum Test Number: 004564 CPT Code: 82679
Post results, PM me when you get them
Do not use estrogen supplementation,
if you come back with
Estradiol 138 pg/ml
on day 3-4 of menstrual cycle
ask doctor for Arimidex to lower it down (and do not wait to long, that is significant).

I will take your recommendations to her.
My cycle is way out of whack and I was on Day 51 of the 78 day cycle. Since I started keeping my daily diary for my headaches, my first cycle was 78 days, then 49 days and most recently (surprise!) 19 days - my menstrual cycle started again yesterday.
Second round of blood was drawn in April, on Day 33 of the 49 day cycle.
DHEA sulfate was 194 ug/dl (I am on sub-lingual 12.5 mg per day)
T-3 Free was 3.1 pg/ml
Estrodial was 143 pg.ml
Estrogen Total was 458 pg/ml
Testosterone was 129 ng/dl (she had bumped it to help with the headaches prior to this draw)
Magnesium was 2.2 mg/dl
TSH was 1.21 mU/dl
That's all she measured that round. My next appt she will order more labs. I will take your information to her. She is very easy to work with and always open to my thoughts.
